To ask the Manager to ensure that any mature trees removed in the course of the construction of the Outer Ring Road are automatically replanted the other side of the boundary railings and walls between the road and adjoining estates. Once the work has ceased additional planting should then take place on the road-side.

"To ask the Manager to provide a safe pedestrian access and upgraded footpath with lighting be constructed along Stocking Lane, this is the access Prospect Manor residents - especially school children have to use daily.  It is totally unsuitable and indeed dangerous with overgrown shrubbery and trees blocking visibility also?"

That this Committee

(a) Re-affirms its support for a Strategic Development Zone in the general area of the Balgaddy District Centre Zoning,                                                                                                         (b) Recommends to South Dublin County Council that the present District Centre Zoning in that location be removed from the South County Dublin Development Plan                               (c) Recommends that an equivalent area be zoned District Centre on the east side of the Outer-Ring Road north of the railway and south of the link road from the Outer -Ring Road to the Fonthill Road.
