BUTTERFIELD/MARIAN ROAD - TRAFFIC LIGHTS

MOTION: Councillor C. Keane

"That this Council discuss the inordinate delay of the ESB in switching on services at new traffic lights provided/ by this Council e.g Marian Road and Butterfield."

REPORT:

The pedestrian crossing at Marian Road was provided as part of the Traffic Calming scheme and is to be powered from the overhead supply network. There has been no delay by the ESB in processing this application.  Application to the ESB was made only after efforts to find an alternative connection were exhausted.
