Reply 20th November 2007 from Dublin Bus
"To ask the Manager to have made contact with Dublin Bus with a view to requesting the relocation of the bus shelter opposite Colaiste de híde, which in the view of many residents is creating a blind spot due to its proximity to Tymonville Road?"
To ask the Manager to clarify the purpose of the recent works done at the land to the left of Ballymount Road (as one drives down from the Belgard Road to Ballymount Cemetery) which appears to include a new vehicular access/egress and will the Manager confirm that these works fall within the remit of exempted development.
"To ask the Manager for a detailed update on the issue of enforcement as outlined in question 1 (under planning) at the Tallaght Area Committee meeting of May 28th, 2007 and will the Manager please note that the fencing has not been removed and the issue of anti-social activity still remains?"
"To ask the Manager to clarify, confirm the most recent agreement between residents in Tymon North Park/Gardens, South Dublin County Council and Councillors in relation to the proposed development at Castletymon. In view of such an agreement, can the Manager outline why this development is named phase 1 and can one logically surmise that this Local Authority is proposing a phase 2?"
"To ask the Manager to have arrange for contact to be made with the retailers at Kingswood Shopping Centre, in view of the on-going litter problem at and around the Shopping Centre and while recognising the recent difficulities in installing litter bins throughout the County, would the Manager consider the installation of a number of litter bins at the pedestrian area to the rear of Kingswood Shopping Centre leading down to Ashfield?"
"To ask the Manager for a detailed up to date on the planning history of the site adjacent to Mayberry Park & the Shell Garage, Mayberry Road, Kilnamanagh?"
"To ask the Manager to arrange to have contact made with the residents of details supplied*in view of the on-going problem of leakage on the roof and balcony of the above-mentioned home?"
"That this Committee calls on the Manager to arrange contact with the R.P.A in view of the apparent lack of maintenance of landscaping along the Luas line between Kingswood & Kilnamanagh."
"To ask the Manager for a detailed report on the issue of whether the windows at *details supplied are in compliance with all relevant Health & Safety regulations?"
"To ask the Manager to have investigated as a matter of urgency the proposal for the installation of a filter light at the junction of Old Bawn Road and Mountain Park, as one travels from Tallaght Village, which would alleviate traffic congestion at this location and also reduce the number potential traffic accidents?"
"To ask the Manager to have arranged the removal of the temporary traffic lights at (the first round-about off the Embankment Road), as one drives on to the M50, as the existence of such lights appears to only worsen the traffic congestion at this location?"
