That this Council calls on the Minister for Children to immediately address the delay in allocating necessary funding through Co Dub VEC to Summer Project schemes through-out South Dublin County. This Council notes that projects in Dublin Mid West are particularly dependent on this funding and may not go ahead without the matter being resolved.

"To ask the Manager to have the two large thorn bushes removed from the green area beside the rear wall of 65 Glenbrook Park Rathfarnham. There are large thorns on the bushes that are a severe danger to children playing on the green area. The bushes were requested to be removed five years ago by residents. The bushes are not a native species?"

That this committee asks the National Transport Agency (NTA) to intervene in the disjointed public transport servicing the Clondalkin electoral area by conducting a strategic assessment on the service and infrastructure eg.bus & rail service, rail station in Fonthill which cannot be accessed by bus, lack of service to Luas or Fonthill Rail Station from Clondalkin Village, lack of trains now stopping at Fonthill Station, proposed lack of direct bus service to city from the villages of Newcastle, Rathcoole & Saggart
