QUESTION: Councillor J. Lahart

To ask the Manager to list the parks depots in the county - what areas they serve and how many personnel are employed in each?

REPLY:

There are eight park depots located around the county as follows with assigned staff in brackets:

1. Esker Lane, Lucan serving Lucan and parts of Clondalkin and Newcastle (24.1 staff)
2. Waterstown Park,  serving Palmerston (5 staff)
3. Grange serving south west Clondalkin and parts of north Clondalkin (10 staff)
4. Corkagh Park serving Clondalkin Village Newlands and Kingswood (30.5 staff)
5. Saggart, serving Saggart, Rathcoole and West Tallaght (8)
6. Sean Walsh Park, serving the Town Centre area, Oldbawn and Talaght Stadium (11 staff)
7. Tymon Park serving Tallaght, Firhouse (30.75)
8. Rathfarnham Castle Park serving Rathfarnham and Ballyboden.(7 staff)

In addition, there is also a small works facility in Grange Castle Golf Course where 6 staff are assigned to the maintenance of the golf course.
