QUESTION: Councillor W. Lavelle

To ask the Manager to provide a further detailed update on the council’s programme of repairs to badly-damaged red asphalt speed-ramps throughout the county including repairs carried out since the reply to my question at the September meeting; and to advise on a timeframe for the outstanding repairs?

Below is a an updated list of ramps that have already been repaired and those that are programmed to be completed by the end of 2011.

In the light of the experience from last year, the Council is in discussions with the National Transport Authority and contractors with a view to revising the specification of materials to be used in the formation of all new ramps.
