Letter, dated 07/03/13, from South Tipperary County Council regarding their motion passed in relation to criminal gangs and the cost to the taxpayer of their activities

That this Council shall devise a comprehensive plan to provide retirement villages throughout the County and that they have wardens in control of same.
"In relation to the land that was designated residential under the West Old Court area plan, could the Manager please comment on the feasibility of changing the land use back to green space in any future development plans?"

"To ask the Manager to consider replacing any broken preventative wooden fencing to the front of Swiftbrook estate in order to enhance and significantly improve the visual appearance of the area?"
"To ask the Manager to indicate the procedure for arranging the removal of graffiti from the wall on the inside of the Luas track on Bothar Katharine Tynan - this wall is currently out of bounds for SDCC Graffiti crew. There is longstanding graffiti in the vicinity of Fettercairn Horse Project and along the entire boundary wall/fence of Fettercairn estate and it appears Luas have no concern about this or respect for the local community by not arranging the timely removal of this?"
To ask the Manager to respond to the ongoing concerns expressed by community activists in Springfield with regard to the high numbers of rented properties in the area, and the issues arising from such a high number of rented properties; to suggest any possible mechanisms to alleviate the difficulties which have been expressed by residents in the area; and to make a statement on the matter.
