QUESTION: Councillor E. Tuffy

"To ask the Manager for an updated report on the efforts of the Parks Department to have the wide grass verge on the entrance road from Griffeen Avenue to Hayden's Park, Rossberry and Tullyhall Estates, Lucan?"

REPLY:

The legal documentation in relation to the taking in charge of the area concerned is currently being examined.  The inclusion of this area in the grass cutting schedule is subject to the legal documentation being in order.  The Elected Members will be updated on progress in the matter. In the meantime, the developer is responsible for the maintenance of the areas until such time as it is taken in charge by the Council.
