The County Development plan to emphasise on-going development of amenities such as the Liffey Valley, the Dodder Linear Park, the Canal, the Parks and Dublin Mountains.
Transport/Permeability
That links to existing green way along the canal would be improved to enable more people to access it safely. A pedestrian / cycle path from Clondalkin Village along the Camac river to the canal would be an important element of this. Also an extension of the canal cycle way towards Hazelhatch and the county border there and co-operation with Kildare County Council to extend the cycle path onwards would promote permeability for commuters and would have definite benefits in terms of tourism.
