QUESTION NO. 10
QUESTION: Councillor P. Kearns
“To ask the Chief Executive whether the Transportation Department have examined the traffic flow at the roundabout at entrance to Woodstown Estate on Ballycullen Road at rush hour in the mornings, and if he will make a statement as to whether the Council has any proposals to improve traffic flow at this location?”
REPLY:
There is no proposal to modify the Roundabout on Ballycullen Road at Woodstown. The roundabout is not unduly constraining traffic and holding it back from the junction at St Colmcille’s Way. Yellow boxes are provided on the roundabout to permit general movement should an exit off the roundabout be congested.
