QUESTION: Councillor D. O'Donovan

"To ask the Chief Executive what the up to date position is with Rosebank Cottage in Rathfarnham.  What stage are negotiations with the landlord?"

REPLY:

A thorough examination of this property was undertaken by the County Architects Dept with a view to advising on its suitability for housing families in need of housing.  A schedule of works was prepared and forwarded to the owner with a request that he arrange for the works to be carried out.  The works are extensive and may not be economically viable for the owner to undertake in light of the lease rent that might be expected for the premises .
