That the Manager compels Kelland Homes to remove the mounds of earth surrounding the railings at Sundale Green and Sundale Park on Fortunestown Lane - that this committee notes and congratulates the Parks Dept on the excellent and elaborate landscaping of the roundabout at this location which is warmly welcomed by the local community - this mounding is a source of great concern locally due to the danger it represents for pedestrians crossing the road and the detrimental affect it has on the visual amenity of the area.

This Council Committe calls on the Manager to draw up a list of community  facilities in the area that are awaiting a Lease or Licience Agreement  from this Local Authority and calls on him to carry out an audit of application funds that are outstanding from Central Government that up to now, have not been drawn down, per project because of the lengthy delay.

“To ask the Manager what involvement have South Dublin County Council with ODPM Management Group in connection with a range of issues concerning the Hunterswood Estate in Ballycullen, and specifically if the Council could outline their discussions, correspondence, e-mails etc. with this Management Group, given the persistent level of anti-social behaviour directed to residents who live on Hunter’s Way in Ballycullen, following repeated incursions onto property within Hunterswood from adjoining residents who live in local authority provided social housing on Daletree Road, and if the Council will further confirm that the CCTV camera which was promised to be installed at this location has now been installed, and the action that the Housing Department intend taking against those persons who are involved in this behaviour as they are clearly tenants of South Dublin County Council, and if he will make a statement on the matter?”
