That this Committee agree to write to the National Monuments Service and ask that the St Josephs Graveyard be assessed and added to National Inventory of Architectural Heritage (Department of Arts, Heritage and the Gaeltacht), Also to list all Protecteded Structure under the current County Development Plan and list all Recorded Monuments under the Record of Monuments and Places, which is maintained by the National Monuments Service in the Clondalkin area.

That the Chief Executive present a report on the implications of Clondalkin Village's designation as an Architectural Conservation Area.
Can the following aspects be addressed please
1. In any developments within the Clondalkin ACA, will any housing development be required to be two storey or less, in order to be in keeping with surrounding buildings?
2. Can developers be required to use materials that are in keeping with the historic centre of Clondalkin Village, particularly in walls etc with a requirement that the materials and style of stonework used is in keeping with the traditional stone walls in the village area.
3. Can the ACA designation be used to protect the sightlines to the Round Tower. These have already been drastically impeded by development and the ACA designation did not seem to provide adequate protection,

To ask the Chief Executive given Rathcoole's designation as an Age Friendly Village, what provision is being made for disabled parking spaces in the village?
Residents of the Nangor Road area in Clondalkin have contacted me several times this year already with photos of car accidents on the road between the Tower Road junction and the Mill centre. When will the promised traffic calming measures for this road be put in place?
To ask the Chief Executive how he proposes to tackle the issue of speeding cars in Broadfield estate Rathcoole and to outline when the children at play signs will be installed there?

To ask the Chief Executive for a report on the current situation in regards to Clondalkin being designated as a Gaeltacht area? And to provide a timeframe for this to happen. How will this be marked?
To ask the Chief Executive that world MS Day on May 27th 2015 be marked by this area and that the theme which is access be acknowledged. That we use this day as an opportunity to promote equality of access and highlight the inequalities and that a display be put in SDCC and a reception and a small launch be held at the civic offices in Clondalkin?
To ask the Chief Executive to look at the use of our Civic offices to promote diversity, inclusion and equality in displays and will aim to mark events in our Civic Offices and that the Social Inclusion department of SDCC to be involved in this?

That this Committee agrees to write to Dublin Bus asking them to consider the provision of a bus service from Bawnogue and Clondalkin Village to Tallaght Hospital.
Given on-going concerns that this Committee asks for an update from the Minister on the situation regarding the Towers and the system that is called Direct Provision that is being carried out within the towers , also that the minister for Equality , Justice and Law Reform arrange for an inspector to do a full report on quality of life within the Towers and update the committee on when this system will be changed as a matter of urgency, also to make a report on the current status of people living there ie how many ? how long? and current alyssum status?

That this Committee calls for a meeting with Councillors, Senior management in Public Realm, Housing and Community Services to review issues relating to Halloween and illegal bonfires in Clondalkin in 2014 and to feed into ideas for the county wide approach to Halloween in 2015. This meeting should take place before the end of March.
That this Committee look at issuing a new cleaning schedule given the litter issues and given the huge increased population of the Newcastle area and review a schedule for checking estates in the Bawnogue and North Clondalkin area.
That this Committee call on the Chief Executive to present a report on wheelchair accessibility in Newcastle cemetery. It appears that in many parts of the cemetery there is no proper access for wheelchairs or for mini diggers.
Can some of the kerbing be removed to improve accessibility?
Can kerbing be restricted on future graves so that accessibility is maintained?
