That this Committee discuss the status of the Whitehall-Wellington cycle scheme in light of concerns expressed by the NTA.
That this Committee calls on the Manager to repair the tarmac walkway between Orwell Park Glade and the pedestrian crossing at the Orwell roundabout. I have received a number of calls from residents and have tripped on it myself.
That this Committee calls on the Manager to arrange for the installation of a number of 'children at play' signs on Russell Place in a effort to reduce the speed of vehicles through this Road which has a large number of young children living on it as the calls for the Rd to be made into a 'cul de sac'could not be realised due to taking in charge issues.
That this Committee calls on the Manager to arrange for an audit of all the disused phone boxes in the Tallaght Central area (Greenhills - Eircom, St Peters Road - 2 Smart Telecom boxes) with a view to arranging their removal by the relevant companies.
That this Committee calls on the Manager to arrange for a serious effort to be made to address the significant problem of potholes and other damage to the Road surface at Whitestown Drive leading to Whitestown Rd as the previous 'efforts' were not sufficient and the Rate Payers on this stretch of Road should be entitled to an expectation that the Road surface would be maintained to a good standard that does not damage their vehicles or goods being transported in those vehicles and that the aesthetics in this regard are conducive to a positive business physical Environment.
