"That the Manager give a report on the current status of Planning Application No. SD05A/1001 - Former Eircom Training Centre, Wainsfort Road and to confirm that the concerns of the residents in relation to the relocation of the entrance are being addressed."

 

That this Committee recommends the immediate re-establishment of an anti-social housing unit in Clondalkin, in part to ensure that people seeking private rented accomodation don't miss out on their chances due to the current delay in anti-social officers signing their forms.

That a report be brought regarding the occupant of Buirg an Ri Glen whose disability is not helped by a) not having the footpath dished on the path to the main road and b) installation of bathroom accessories to enable use of  the bath which have been placed on the wrong side of the bath and hence are of no use to the disabled gentleman.

"That the Manager and the Roads Enginner arrange a public meeting with the Residents Associations in the general area affected  and other interested parties to fully brief them on the Consultants' Report on Traffic Management in Terenure/Templeogue."

"That this Committee request that the Roads Department examine the traffic flow at the Spawell Roundabout on the N81 and in particular examine what measures are required to alleviate problems being experienced by traffic exiting from the southern end of the roundabout at rush hour as motorists are experiencing delays of up to 20 minutes at this interchange."

That the Lucan/Clondalkin Area  Committee recommends to South Dublin County Council a policy whereby our County Council would purchase back houses in Council estates from elderly residents in return for them moving into rented sheltered accommodation.

That this Committee recommends to South Dublin County Council that a local referendum be organised to decide whether or not a gap with a kissing gate should be opened on the Alpine/Ashwood side of Fonthill Road beside the pedestrian traffic lights at the road entrance to Dunawley and Oakwood Grove.

To ask the Manager to report on the amount of Planning Applications submitted Christmas week 2005 relative to locations within the Lucan, Palmerstown and Clondalkin areas and to compare this figure with the volume of Planning Applications submitted during each of the three previous weeks. Would the Manager also report on the number of Planning Applications decided on in South Dublin County Council during Christmas week.
