To ask the Manager if he will contact the owner of the shops in Kimahuddrick Estate and ask him to clean the graffiti at the shops?
To ask the Manager to report on the number of fines issued to Estate Agents and Auctioneers in the Lucan, Palmerstown and Clondalkin areas within the last month for displaying signage in unauthorised locations.
To ask the Manager to agree to install a new Litter Bin at the bus stop on the Lucan Road close to the entrance of Woodville Estate. As this area has been the subject of increased litter, the installation of a new Litter Bin at this Bus Stop would be of assistance.
To ask the Manager to indicate what steps are being taken to allocate an additional street sweeping operative to the Lucan area.

To ask the Manager that in view of the anti -social activities along Lock View Road, Clondalkin that this Council will keep to a minimum the amount of stones and rubble left loose due to earthworks in this area. Local youths are using stones to break windows in buses and Dublin Bus has threatened to withdraw services from Bawnogue/Kilmahuddrick.

That the Manager outlines what measures will be put in place to ensure that sufficient additional capacity is given to the existing plastic recycling facilities to combat the frustration caused to residents by the containers being frequently filled to overflowing.
That the Manager brings forward proposals to alleviate the problem of rubbish between the Outer Ring Road wall and the railing at Grangeview Estate.
That the Manager would bring forward a detailed report for discussion on his plans to introduce enhanced litter collection services owing to increased litter problems in the Lucan, Palmerstown and Clondalkin areas.

To ask the Manager how many families are on the 4 bedroom housing list
a) in Clondalkin
b) in Lucan
and on what plans the County Council has to build 4 bedroom houses in these two areas?
To ask the Manager to present a detailed report on all improvements being proposed, including traffic calming, safety measures for local children etc., in support of the residents of Balgaddy following the on-site meetings that have taken place at Buirg An Rí.
To ask the Manager to report on the amount of Social Housing coming on stream in Lucan, Palmerstown and Clondalkin in the first quarte of 2006, and also scheduled to come on stream in the second quarter of 2006.
To ask the Manager to provide details of what steps are being taken to ensure that adequate traffic calming measures are put in place as part of the design of all new Council Housing Projects in the Lucan/Clondalkin Electoral Area.
To ask the Manager for an update in relation to the proposed traveller accommodation at the Coldcut and if any progress can be reported in relation to the possibility of upgrading it to group housing.

That the Manager investigates as a matter of urgency the delays that occurred in rectifying faults in the heating system over the period of November to January in an individual dwelling in Buirg an Rí and to outline what steps will be taken to ensure that a similar situation will not happen again.
In response to representations from residents in the Oatfield & Wheatfield Housing Estates concerning on-going anti-social behavior displayed by some private tenant's & the irresponsible attitude of some landlords, I move that this Council acts in conjunction with the P.R.T.B & Revenue Department to ensure that all landlords in the area are registered & tax compliant.
That the Manager provides details of what locations are being considered for the provision of much needed homeless housing within each of the Lucan, Palmerstown and Clondalkin areas.
That the Manager would report on the final aspect of dishing works to be carried out on the footpaths either side of the main entrance to Buirg an Rí Estate in Balgaddy. The lack of such works is a cause of great inconvenience and restrictions to Local Residents, especially those who use wheelchairs and who push buggies and bicycles.

To ask the Manager to either trim or cut down the trees outside 160 and 190, Alpine Heights.
To ask the Manager to provide an up-to-date report on the Lucan Skate Park project by way of the now-agreed revised design of our In-Situ type skate park that I requested to help further reduce the noise levels for the benefit of Local Residents in Ash Park, and the time-scale for the building and completion of the Lucan Skate Park.
To ask the Manager to report on his proposal to introduce a new authorised access to Griffeen Valley Park opposite the entrance to Finnstown Abbey. An unauthorised access is currently in place, but causes inconveniences and lacks safety measures which could be resolved with the introduction of an authorised access at this point.

That this Committee requests that the Manager undertakes to consider the provision of a lockable gate to the park at Willsbrook with keys being provided to nearby residents in an effort to prevent people traipsing through the estate to access the park after night-fall.
That the Manager outlines what the staffing levels available to the Parks Department in the Lucan, Palmerstown and Clondalkin areas has been in each of the past five years.
That the Manager would report on his plans, including the time-scale for works, to introduce new footpaths to provide further walking opportunities for local residents to walk the perimeters of Griffeen Valley Regional Park. In the case of the entrance to the park at the Lucan Sports Association on the Newcastle Road, Local Residents are restricted to walking on the grass and are caused great incovenience especially in wet weather. The lack of such footpaths is the cause of limiting the number of people using Griffeen Valley Park.
That the Manager investigate the possibility of providing a pedestrian footpath from Kew Park to the old Celbridge Road to facilitate residents who wish to take this route to Lucan and to include in his report the timescale for completion of the project.

That this Committee requests that a comprehensive audit be undertaken of community facilities in the Lucan, Palmerstown, Clondalkin and Newcastle-Lyons areas.
That the Manager would report in detail on what Council facilities are available/will be available to assist horse owners in the Quarryvale, Clondalkin and Balgaddy areas? Would the Manager agree that the provision of such facilities by the Council will be of great benefit to those adults and young adults who own horses and who currently do not have facilities to accommodate their horses?
That the manager clearly outlines:
- When the last St.Patrick’s Day Parade was held in the Lucan/Clondalkin Area?
- How much of an input this Council had?
- Would it be viable to reinitiate the Clondalkin Parade?
- How the members of this Council could move forward on this?
- Is there time enough between now and this March?
That this Committee calls upon the Manager to clarify the priority being given to the provision of a library in Palmerstown.
