To ask the Manager to outline the social housing options for single unemployed males living at home :-
a) Can they go on the housing list?
b) Is it the case that they can't avail of rental allowance because they're not on the housing list?
c) Can the Manager indicate how single unemployed males can acquire social housing?
"That the Manager consider a plan for Greenhills Estate to tackle the dumping problem in many of the rear laneways and to take into account that the laneways are the type that enables trucks and cars to move freely through the estate without being noticed and are able to off load waste without being seen."
Proposed Material Contravention of the South Dublin County Council Development Plan 2004-2010 – Register Reference No. SD05A/0806, for

"To ask the Manager what is the current position in relation to the proposed neighbourhood park at the back of Ellensborough on Kiltipper Road, what consultation has taken place between the local community and South Dublin County Council in relation to this matter, when is it anticipated that work on this project will begin, the likely time frame involved before the park is open, and if he will make a statement on the matter?"
To ask the Manager, (A)how many house fires have taken place in the past two years in Council owned houses or apartments as a result of faulty wiring or wiring related issues, (B) has there been any investigation by the Council to determine if there are any patterns emerging in this regard in terms of for example contractors carrying out works on certain houses previous to a fire and (C) if an investigation hasn't taken place will the Manager undertake to arrange for an investigation to take place to ensure that this Council is doing everything in it's power to prevent such fires taking place in the future?
