That this Council is dismayed at the decision of the HSE to remove the services for children out of the Tallaght Hospital to the Mater. Given the population demographics and the proposed developments under the Tallaght masterplan this decision is wrong. We call on the Minister for Health to leave the Childrens Hospital intact in Tallaght.

"That this Committee discusses the serious issue of having the river bank open at Brookwood, an unprecedented level of anti-social behaviour occurs there. Children can access the area to retrieve balls as there is no protection. Residents have signed a petition to have a railing erected there. It has already been agreed to have the area assessed again and to report on that assessment to enable this Committee to make a final recommendation with a view to solving this longstanding problem."
