To ask the Manager to write to the Fire Brigade Authority, requesting details of Fire Emergency Services requested in the Lucan, Clondalkin and Palmerstown areas in the last year, including reports on what delays, if any, were experienced by the Fire Brigade in accessing these areas due to traffic congestion on our roads, and that the Manager would agree to report back.

Minutes of Lucan Clondalkin Area Committee Meeting held on the 27th of June 2006.
To ask that the Manager to write to the Management of Dublin Bus and request details of the company's plans to enhance the bus service in the Lucan, Clondalkin and Palmerstown areas. Due to the continued development in these communities and the increased traffic gridlock on our roads, an immediate part solution to our traffic problems is for a more regular and flexible bus service to be provided interlinking each part of the community and wider communities with each other as well as the city centre, the airport, industrial estates, town and shopping centres, colleges, schools etc.
To ask the Manager to provide an up-to-date report on the availability of sites in the Lucan area for new schools.
To ask the Manager to agree to bring to this Area Committee, a report for discussion, prior to commencement of works, on what Traffic Management Plans are being put in place for when works begin on the N4 Widening Scheme, so as not to inconvenience local residents in adjoining estates any further than they are currently inconvenienced due to traffic congestion.
To ask the Manager to agree to maximise the awareness and publicity regarding the consultation process as part of the proposed development at Balgaddy/Clonburris and the Liffey Valley Town Centre Developments.
To ask the Manager to agree to report back on the completion of the proposed works I requested and are scheduled to be carried out in the cul-de-sac between house nos. 10 and 11 Cannonbrook Park, Lucan.
To ask the Manager to detail what steps will be taken in the next few months to update the electoral register covering Lucan, Palmerstown, Clondalkin and Newcastle-Lyons.
