To ask the Manager for an updated report on the Council's efforts to provide a Community Centre in Palmerstown?

To ask the Manager that in view of the anti -social activities along Lock View Road, Clondalkin that this Council will keep to a minimum the amount of stones and rubble left loose due to earthworks in this area. Local youths are using stones to break windows in buses and Dublin Bus has threatened to withdraw services from Bawnogue/Kilmahuddrick.

To ask the Manager if the pedestrian crossing is going ahead at the Glenfield Estate.  At the traffic management meeting of 24/11/05 it was agreed to carry out a count.

To ask the Manager if he will investigate possible arrangements to ensure the continuous availability of the handcart cleaning service in the Quarryvale estates, including during times when the regular staff member is on annual leave, as the service provided is proving to be very successful in maintaining the tidyness of the area?

To ask the Manager to provide a progress report on the Council's objective to secure 15% of the units in the Adamstown SDZ for social and affordable housing, and if he can advise as to the number of such units anticipated to be delivered in the first part of the first phase, i.e. the housing units granted permission and under construction, and recommends to the Manager that in the interest of promoting community diversity of Adamstown from the outset  the Council examines the possibility of assigning some of the social and affordable housing to be used as sheltered accommodation for older people.

To ask the Manager if arrangements have been finalised to have the management of the Lucan Skatepark undertaken by the management and staff of Lucan Sports and Leisure Centre, and if additional staff resources and appropriate training will be provided?

That this Committee recommends that Dodsborough Cottages be included in the next round of Junk Collections and requests the Manger to provide a list of estates in the Lucan EA in which Junk Collections were made in 2005 or will be made in the present round?
