That the Manager present a report on Neilstown Car Park addressing the following issues:-
a) The use of an European Union scheme for upgrading the facility.
b) The costs involved.
c) The status of the car park - is it a private car park controlled by the Neilstown Shops Management Committee, & if so, why was public money used to fund it's refurbishment?
d) Who is responsible for insurance in the car park?
e) Has legal opinion been obtained as to the status of the car park?
f) The rights of those who work in the buildings around the car park, to park there without all day charges.

That this Committee recommends that a "Passport for Leisure" scheme for over 55 year olds (in line with that introduced by the Community Department of Dublin City Council) be introduced in South Dublin County Council.
That a report be brought to this Committee explaining why the CB Sacks premises and overflow carpark are in the disgraceful condition of neglect which now pertains and what action is proposed to rectify this matter.
