Proposed Car Park at Bancroft Park
"That this Committee calls on the Manager to acquire the ESSO site in Tallaght Village by CPO or other means. Once acquired a Part 8 be drawn up which includes under-ground public car parking, a small square and an information/tourism office."
That this Committee recommends that a path be constructed between Melrose Avenue and Lindisfarne Lawn, passing the mural, and that it be kept away from the wall, with the assistance of a small bit of lead in railing in Lindisfarne Lawn .
That the Council provides additional litter bins at identifiable "litter spots" e.g. between the Statoil Station and the Community School in Palmerstown and that the Council launches an anti-litter campaign that can raise public awareness and supports the work of our hard working litter wardens.
That this Council honour and complete the contract between South Dublin County Council and the Dublin County Board (GAA), which was agreed and paid for by the Dublin County Board in 1995, this means to transfer to the Dublin County Board the deeds and the lands which are legally theirs.
That the Manager outlines how the tenants at the Kishogue plots are progressing and could the Manager arrange an on site meeting with the tenants.
That this Committee agrees that a wall be constructed between the N4 and the rear of the houses on Palmerstown Avenue as promised some 20 years ago as a barrier to noise and air pollution that has now reached intolerable peaks and is a constant source of stress for local residents.
