Proposed Variation No. 4 Newlands Cross Draft Manager's Report 28th September 2007

Question
Meeting:
Submitted by:
Councillor K. Warren
Responsibility:
Seamus Daly

“To ask the Manager if he recognises that the measures deployed by South Dublin County Council on Mayberry Road in April of this year, have resulted in significant traffic delays to residents in the Kilnamanagh area, and have significantly increased the length of time that motorists in this area have to endure before accessing either the Belgard Road or the Greenhills Road, if his Department can now bring forward proposals to alleviate these delays, and to allow additional space on Mayberry Road to be created so as to improve traffic flows in the area, and if he will make a statement on the matter.”

Question
Meeting:
Submitted by:
Councillor K. Warren
Responsibility:
Mary Keenan

“To ask the Manager if he would put in place a proper landscaping plan for the pedestrian walkway that exists at the end of Parkhill Lawn in Kilnamanagh, and effectively provides a pedestrian route for residents in Kilnamanagh to the Luas and the Embankment Road, the need for this entire area to be upgraded by way of additional public lighting, litter bins, the planting of fast growing shrubs on existing boundaries, and the general upkeep of the area which has been severely littered in recent years, and if he will make a statement on the matter?"
