Would he specifically outline the planning and consultation process associated with this project and assure this Committee and the Lucan Community of the Council's commitment to provide this new facility despite restrictions on government spending, including delays in funding grants by the Department of Arts, Sports & Tourism, as previously outlined in response to my ongoing representations for a New Sports and Leisure Facility, including a Swimming Pool for Lucan, and reiterate that the Council remains committed to allocating the required capital funding to deliver the New Sports and Leisure Facility, including a Swimming Pool in Lucan.
