“To ask the Manager what steps are being taken to resolve the urgent litter problem at Kiltalown shops, if his Department has had discussions with the shop owners in question, and if he will make a statement on the matter.”
To ask the Manager if he would agree to allow the residents at *Details supplied to incorporate a disused laneway at the back of this person’s property, which is completely inoperable and has already been closed off by South Dublin County Council, and given the fact that this laneway has not been cleaned for 5 years, if a laneway cleanup can be organised, and if he will make a statement on the matter?
REPORT ON PART 8 OF THE PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT REGULATIONS 2001, CONSULTATION ON DODDER VALLEY LINEAR PARK
(circulated herewith)
That following the adoption of the Litter Management Plan at the June Council Meeting that the Manager, in consultation with local councillors, put in place a formal procedure to track the delivery of the plan's aims and objectives at Local Area level with special reference to minimising litter and the removal of graffiti.
"To ask that the Manager take action to repair and restore the tardy workmanship and poor finish on the wall at the Priory on Whitehall Road. The loose facing stones are a safety hazard, the capping is non-existent and the wall is bringing the judgement of SDCC into disrepute?"
"To ask that the Manager take steps to secure the car park at Perrystown Community Centre. It is the scene of nightly visits by young car drivers who use it for speeding and hand brake turns causing disturbance and danger to neighbours?"
"To ask the Manager to replant the gap in the row of mature trees opposite the west end of Avondale Terrace?"
To ask the Manager to date stamp Press Releases as listed on the SDCC home page?
That the Gardaí present a report on the fighting involving 30-40 people, some using knives which took place in Deansrath Estate, Clondalkin on Saturday 17th May between 5am and 7am and on why there was not an adequate response to it.
