"To ask the Manager when will work commence on the upgrade of the car park at Perrystown Community Centre. I was informed when I raised this issue first some time ago that Community Department and Parks department agreed to share the cost of this work?"
"To ask the Parks Manager when work will commence on the upgrade of Willington Roundabout as agreed with this Councillor and WORK residents association some time ago, and if an outline could be given of proposed work?"
That action be taken to radically cut back the trees located on POS east of Firhouse Community Centre, as, in their current state, anti-social activity is being facilitated.
"That this committee discuss the unacceptable condition of the Glass Bring Bank area on corner of Grange Rd/Sarah Curran Ave. I have been raising this issue for some considerable time and was informed that ‘something’ would be done to upgrade the area/underground/relocate the facility etc. etc.? This area is an eyesore and cannot be allowed to remain in this condition. If we expect people to recycle we must ensure that the recycling facility is not a ‘blight’ on adjacent area."

To ask the Manager to provide a detailed and up-to-date report on South Dublin County Council's School Bus Transportation System as a Pilot Project? Would the Manager outline in detail what reasons are there for the delays in implementing this Pilot Project, including the results of the Council's latest contacts and discussions with the Department of Transport, and details of the revised schedule as to when it is expected that this much anticipated and long awaited service will be available to the local communities in South Dublin?
To ask the Manager to report in detail on the proposed new black bin service charge system to be introduced to replace the less than satisfactory bin tag system, including the time-scale for its introduction?
That the Manager report as to number of months it will take for Bord Pleanala to make a decision re proposal for Incinerator at Behans Quarry Rathcoole, and to ascertain if this proposal is in line with Government Policy i.e. what body or Minister sent planning application to an Bord Pleanala.
That the elected members of this Council request the National Roads Authority to withdraw their misleading advertisement in connection with the introduction of the Barrier-Free -Tolling on the M50. This on the basis that motorists are being mislead into registering for a free Tag, which in reality is costing them €12 per year. We demand that the NRA should abandon this €12 charge and refund the motorists who have registered to date.
