This Committee calls on the  Manager in view of the ongoing health concerns of  local residents in Ambervale and Lanndale Lawns Estates in Tallaght and the very real concerns of  parents of children attending St Marks Community School to give a detailed report regarding the background to the years of  delay  and failure to  take action against the  illegal telecommunications  mast at Cookstown Cotttages.

To ask the Manager in view of the increased traffic using  the new Outer Ring  Road and the added environmental noise pollution effecting residents in Raheen, Kilclare, Whitebrook, Rossfield , Drumcairn, and  Kilmartin Estates and  will he outline what short and long term proposals he proposes to introduce to reduce and eliminate this unwelcome intrusion on residents and  the local environment?

To ask the Manager, is it reasonable in cases where vacant houses' outdoor gas meters have been disconnected by Bord Gáis to expect the new SDCC tenants to pay €500 to Bord Gáis to reconnect the gas supply to their new home, ensuring these families are either put under significant financial pressures at the initiation stage of their tenancy or that they go without heating as a result of being unable to afford the reconnection fee and can the Manager make a statement on the matter?

To ask the Manager is there a strategy in place to reduce the costs of the post Halloween festivities 'clean-ups' and is there any evidence that the roll out of the annual junk collections prior to Halloween has a positive impact on the overall workload of the clean-up crews post Halloween?
