This Council Committee concerned at the lack of free flow in traffic at the Square Tallaght (Super Value/Latina Restaurant  end) and recognising the difficulties being experienced by Dublin Bus drivers keeping trying to keep Bus Schedules, calls on the Manager to review

 A) the traffic lighting sequences,

B) Broadening the  bus stop lay byes ( with a view to making more room to pull in and allow traffic to overtake)

 C) any  other constructive or practical measures in conjunction with Bus Ath Cliath Managment and local business premises with a view  to improving  the situation for commuters and motorists in the area.

"In March it was reported that enforcement action had been taken against 15 people in the Tallaght Area for the misuse of Skip Bags and that verbal warnings were issued to a further 12 people to date (presumably meaning since skip bags became common). Could the manager update what these numbers are up to the end of the year for the Tallaght area?"

“To ask the Manager if an additional public light can be installed on the pedestrian walkway at the top of Parkhill Lawns which allows residents in Kilnamanagh to access the Luas on the Embankment Road and while two lights are in operation on this pedestrian walkway, if an additional light can be considered at this time, given the fact that the public lighting to date is not sufficient, and  is rather dim, and as a means of improving visibility along this very busy walkway, that this request could be acceded to as soon as possible, and if he will make a statement on the matter?”
