South Dublin County Joint Policing Committee Annual Work Programme 2009
This Council Committee, concerned at the ongoing problems involving numerous laneways in many Council Estates in Tallaght, like Fettercairn and Tymon North and the decade long attempts of the Council to resolve the problems associated with nuisance, anti social behaviour,drug dealing, criminal access and illegal dumping in many of these laneways, agrees to call on the Manager to give a report identifying lanes that are currently closed but with issues like right of way not resolved and lanes where closure is objected to, due services or to reaccess for residents etc, also agrees to prioritise resolving these matters including establishment of a scheme to encourage local residents, Council and private, to take in theses spaces into their property at a nominal rate.

Report on housing construction programme
"That this Committee agrees to write to Dublin Bus to consider the erection of a bus shelter at the bus stop on Avonmore Road at the Bolbrook Enterprise centre for the benefit of the community but particularly the many elderly residents in the area".

"That the Manager investigates the feasiblity of removing or reducing the height and size of the ramp outside, 9 The Crescent, Millbrook Lawns, as it is causing serious noise disturbances to residents in the vicinity of the ramp due to it's size, causing cars' underside to hit the ramp".

That this Committee calls on the Manager to arrange for the resurfacing of the road at the entrances to Avonbeg Gardens which has been badly degraded as a result of the infill Scheme and which was agreed to be carried out once the scheme was completed".
ROAD TRAFFIC (SPEED LIMIT) BYE-LAWS 2009
That the Manager presents a report on the following environmental issues with Grangeview Estate, Clondalkin.
(a) The need for the road sweeper to sweep all roads in the Estate.
(b) The dumping immediately inside the Estate and the dumping just outside the Estate on St. Cuthbert's Road.
(c) The dumping between the wall between the Estate and the Outer Ring Road and the inner wall (is that strip taken in charge)?
To ask the Manager for an update on when brown bin collections are going to be initiated in South County Dublin?
