That this Committee is appalled by the vandalism in the open space near the junction of Tamarisk Drive and Treepark Road in Kilnamanagh. That this Committee urges the replacement of the wall along the M50 slipway and the use of a stud wall or other measure to stop the smashing of the wall with large wooden spools, as has occurred on a number of previous occasions.

"That a proper barrier, sufficient to withstand a vehicle crash, be installed without delay and prior to the opening of the Scholarstown Interchange to full-flow traffic.  Exactly what part of 'crash/safety barrier does the NRA not quite understand?', the reply is not to include references to EIS and Safety reports but to suggest that this real and immediate concern of adjacent residents be taken seriously and acted upon once and for all."

That this Council call upon the Manager to consider the provision of a Garden of Remembrance or a Columbarium Wall in Bohernabreena Cemetery to facilitate families for the interment of cremated remains of loved ones, in close proximity to the burial ground, where other family members may interred and to institute a traffic management system within the confines of the Cemetery, in an effort to prevent incursion by vehicles within the Lawn Cemetery.
