MOTION: Councillor T. Gilligan

That the decision of granting permission for off licences be given to a vote by the Councillors.

REPORT:

Procedures for consideration of planning applications is the subject to the Planning and Development Acts 2000- 2007 and is not a reserved function.  It is not the function of the Draft Development  Plan to determine the scope of reserved functions and this motion is therefore not relevant to the consideration of the Draft Plan .

MANAGER’S RECOMMENDATION:

It is recommended that this Motion not be adopted.
