To ask the Manager why the grass median and footpath verge on the N4 from the county boundary at Palmerston to the county boundary at Leixlip was not maintained over the summer months and why it was not maintained in the pristine condition that it was in for the visit of Queen Elizabeth?

That the Manager brings forward a report on anti-social hot spots that have been identified within this Area Committee and that a discussion takes place on the issues associated, on efforts to date to address them and on possible additional solutions.
To ask the Manager if he will set out the procedures whereby a business owner in Lucan Village, retail or otherwise, can apply for a permit to place signage, including "sandwich boards" outside the premises, and if he will advise how many such permits are currently held?
That this Committee acknowledges that the concerns of residents of Foxborough residents, and the Foxborough Environment Group, about anti-social behaviour incidents in the vicinity of the back of the field at Foxborough Road, asks the Manager if the Council has been involved in any discussions with residents and An Garda Síochána, about those problems, requests the Manager to present a report on problems at the location reported to the Council, and requests the Manager if the Council would be prepared to fund an increase in the height of the boundary wall.

That this Committee requests the Manager, with respect to planning enforcement proceedings taken against residents of Oakcourt, Palmerston, Dublin 20 regarding development of new rear boundary walls encompassing lands adjoining the rear laneway, to revisit these proceedings in light of fresh information that the lands adjoining the rear laneway were NOT in fact habitually open to the public. A post and wire fence (albeit in poor repair) was in place indicating this area was not habitually open to the public. Therefore, development which would otherwise be deemed exempt under the planning regulations, should not be ruled non-exempt on these grounds.

To ask the Manager if he will make a report on the project to relocate the Lucan Parks Depot to Griffeen Valley Park, on the site designated in the Part 8 proposal recently adopted by the Council, indicating the anticipated timeframe for completion of the project, and if he can advise when the Council will receive payment for the former Green Re-cycling Centre and Parks Depot site at Esker Lane, and provide a figure for the anticipated net profit to the Council, and if he will be open to proposals from Lucan EA councillors on how the money might be used by the Council?
That the Manager would make a report to the meeting on the progress of the measures being implemented by the Park's Department and other Council Departments, in consultation with Moy Glas and Esker Riada Residents Associations, on the embankment / esker between the estates, to ameliorate the disturbance and inconvenience to residents arising from anti-social behaviour.

That the Manager bring forward a report on the working and effectiveness of the 3 ton limit restriction that is in force on roads within this Committee's electoral area and to include proposals on how the objective of making such roads and neighbourhoods healthy, safe and environmentally satisfactory for local resident can be achieved and that a discussion take place on the matter.
That this Committee recognises that residents in Sarsfield and Vesey Terraces Lucan, and other residents in and around the centre of Lucan Village have endured disturbance and inconvenience, including noise, air pollution and other negative effects, arising from the practice of taxi drivers using the roadway outside their residences as a location to wait, often with engines running, and often late at night, for a vacant space to become available on the existing small Taxi Rank beside the Village Green, acknowledges that a number of retail outlets in Main street Lucan, close to AIB, would be adversely affected by a restriction in parking outside their premises in the period between 6 and 10 pm, and requests the Manager to bring forward for discussion at the Area Committee meeting a proposal for the provision of a single larger Taxi Rank on the Old Lucan Road, between the Newcastle Road junction and the Topaz Station, excluding the Dublin Bus Stop space.
That this Committee acknowledges the concerns of parents and staff of Gaelscoil Naomh Phadraig and Coláiste Cois Life about the road safety hazard at the small roundabout at the entrance to the two schools and requests the Road's Department to make a report on measures which might be implemented to make the area safer for pedestrians, including pupils, and drivers.
