Already it leads to delays in the delivery of some mail.

That this Committee requests the Manager to pursue enforcement proceedings to secure public access to lands along the River Liffey, handed over to South Dublin County Council as part of the Hermitage Clinic development, in line with the requirements of the Council and the conditions of the Bord Pleanála decision PL 06S.128044, noting that it is currently not possible to access this land due to the configuration of the road system provided by the hospital and the standard of road and pedestrian access constructed.
That in view of the emphasis placed on providing regular, ongoing engagement with unemployed people and reforming institutions to deliver better services to unemployed people, this Committee re-affirms its commitment to pursuing the achievement of suitable accommodation and facilities in the Lucan Electoral Area, where over 4300 residents are on the Live Register, to serve as a Social Welfare Office and Local Employment Service Office and requests the Manager to write to the Minister for Social Protection to urge her to give priority to securing suitable facilities for Lucan and copy this letter to the four Dáil Deputies representing the area.
