That the Manager outlines solutions to deal with the Clondalkin Community Centre car park "Clondalkin Park", in relation to comments from the National Tidy Towns Awards
Given that there are now a number of Zebra Crossings in the Clondalkin Area, namely at Convent Road and on the Neilstown Road, and that drivers often ignore such crossings and that pedestrians often assume that cars will stop for them at these crossings, that this Committee calls on the Manager to investigate the possibility of a public information campaign being organised to educate drivers and pedestrians on the safe use of zebra crossings.
That the Manager explains why neither leaves nor bags left by Residents Associations/Groups at various locations in the Clondalkin EA, were not collected by the Council.
To ask the Manager for a report on the window replacement programme in Clondalkin for 2013 including the following information:
- the total allocation for window replacement in SDCC in 2013
- the total allocation for window replacement in the Clondalkin LEA in 2013
- the amount of funding for window replacement in the Clondalkin LEA remaining to be spent before the end of 2013
- the number of households who had their windows replaced in the Clondalkin LEA to date in 2013
- the number of households who are due to have their windows replaced in the Clondalkin LEA before the end of 2013
- total number of households on the window replacement list in the Clondalkin LEA on Jan 1 2013
- the total number of households on the window replacement list in the Clondalkin LEA as of 1 Dec 2013
- The average waiting time between assessment/grading & window replacement for those who had their windows replaced in 2013 in the Clondalkin LEA?
To ask the Manager for a report containing the following information:
- the number of community organisations in the Clondalkin LEA with whom the Council has a lease agreement and/or management agreement for the use of buildings or the provision of services
- the number of these organisations were the lease agreement and/or management agreement was not finally signed of by either or both parties
- a list of those organisations were the lease agreement and/or management agreement was not finally signed off by either or both parties
- an outline of the reasons why these agreements were not signed off and an assessment of the legal implications for both the Council and the relevant community organisations in those cases were the agreements were not signed off?
