Cathaoirleach's Business

"That the Committee requests the Manager to write again to Dublin Bus requesting that the number 26 Bus Service be extended to serve all of Palmerston by extending the terminus from Palmerstown Cemetery to either the Liffey Valley Town Centre (preferred option as it also coincides with the Councils declared intention of linking Palmerston to the Town Centre) or to Cherry Orchard Health Centre and that Dublin Bus explain why it disenfranchises one-third of the Palmerston Community by re-locating the Terminus."

REPORT:

The attached correspondence from Dubin Bus dated 25th October 2013, regarding the 26 Bus Service was noted  by the Committee at it's meeting on 26th November 2013.

If this Motion is approved a letter will issue to Dublin Bus on the matter and when a reply is received the Committee will be notified accordingly.
