"That this Committee notes the serious concerns expressed by many parents of current and prospective students of Lucan Community College about the inordinate delay in progressing the School Extension Building Project, and requests the Manger to write to the Minister for Education and Skills conveying the sentiments of the Lucan Area Committee, that the delays in progressing the project to the Planning Application Stage and thence to construction is unacceptable, and requesting the Minister to confirm that the process will be speeded up."

"That this Committee welcomes the Manager's decision to provide a Regional Playground in Lucan Demesne in 2016, as part of the Five Year Play Space Programme, and recommends to the Manager that the Parks Department liaises with Fingal County Council, which has begun a major programme of development in St. Catherine's Park, so that the facilities provided by the Council in Lucan Demesne complement the facilities provided by Fingal County Council in St. Catherine's Park."
