To ask the Chief Executive when will the replacement or repair of damaged pedestrian safety railings take place along the R148 from the Kennelsfort road junction to the Oval at Palmerstown.

Location 1: At the westbound bus stop on the R148 adjacent to the footbridge.

Location 2: At the centre median of the R148 at the Oval.

Location 3: At the south west corner of the Kennelsfort road / R148 junction.

That the Chief Executive write to the Minister for Education and Skills to request an urgent review of the Departments school transport policy in order to avoid the exclusion from transport, of primary school pupils from Palmerstown travelling to Gaelscoil Naomh Pádraig in Lucan and transport policy in the wider Lucan/Palmerstown/Bohernabreena area.

That this Area Committee calls on the Chief Executive to amend the current parking scheme in Lucan village to allow for an exemption for persons attending the doctors surgery for medical appointments such exemption to be provided were persons attending the surgery display on their vehicles a parking ticket stamped by the doctors surgery confirming their attendance in the surgery.

"That this Area Committe ask the Chief Executive to report on the delay in handover of houses built or purchased by SDCC to allocations.  We have families waiting in hubs and homeless individuals told they are getting properties and some are still waiting as they are told the land has not been handed over to the Council.  Can the Chief Executive also report on the time when the property is offered to family to the time of moving in?
