In light of the present application to build 496 residential units in blocks of up to 7 storeys high at the Augustinian site on Taylor's Lane, that this Area Committee write to the Department of Housing, Planning and Local Government calling on the incoming government to revoke S.I. 271/2017 and bring to an end the wholly undemocratic system of Strategic Housing Developments.
"To ask the Chief Executive that as there is high level of litter in Corkagh Park can the Chief Executive Officer issue a litter picking schedule within Corkagh Park? and also a number of Clondalkin Residents are asking if South Dublin County Council collect litter in the park and if so how frequently?"
"That this committee requests in light of the Data Protection Commission report dated 26th March ref. C-20-2-660 - SDCC ref M65153 - can the CEO report on the names of businesses in Clondalkin who have received fines under the Litter Pollution Act 1997 and subsequent Amendments. We ask that this report includes the regularity of fines per business. Also is there any fines outstanding per business? As there are a number of high profile businesses regularly not adhering to their obligations this Committee requests a monthly report on named businesses to have received notices and or fines."

That the Manager reports on recent SHD planning approval in our area which provide communal living, given the deadly pandenic and necessity for social distancing, outlining what steps, if any, will be taken to deal with the issue.
To ask the Manager to report on the location of bins within the Dodder Valley Park and what steps are being taken to deal with anti-social behaviour and litter within the park.
That this committee requests an increase in litter collection at the following green areas:
Greenhills Park, the 8 acres, the 5 acres and the green in front of St. Damiens School in Dublin 12.
That this committee requests public bins at the entrances into the 8 acres field (opposite the Community Centre) as well as into the 5 acres field in Perrystown Dublin 12.

That this committee requests that landscaping and maintenance works to be carried out on the Templeogue Road on Saturday mornings and which are near to the Hillcrest Estate in Templeogue, be carried out at a reasonable, family friendly time, especially at weekends.
A resident has complained that noisy maintenance works are being carried out at least once a month, on Saturday mornings around 6am, outside of his family home. The works are loud enough to wake the entire family, including a young child and last approx 30 minutes each time. Last weekend, the family were woken at 2.15am and 4.45am respectively by works along the road.

Given the continuing anti-social and littering problem within Dodder Valley Park, that this Area Committee requests assistance in tackling the issue by way of patrols in the area from Rathfarnham and Tallaght Garda Stations.
That this Area Committee calls upon the government to implement the National Small Business Recovery Plan as set out at https://www.smerecovery.ie
That this Committee writes to the Minister for Education and asks for a list of the number of ASD school places available throughout this area for the last three academic years, and to set out any proposed increases in such school places and/or supports available going forward
To ask the Chief Executive to make representations to An Bord Pleanala in the strongest possible terms opposing the proposed development of the former Augustinian lands on Ballyboden Road, given the density and the height of the proposed development with respect to the character of the local area, the lack of any adequate transport infrastructure for the area and the adverse impact such a development will have on the environment and wildlife in the area, noting the proximity of the location to the Owendoher Rover.
This council calls of Chief Executive to engage with members of the community, including the local Tidy towns and local residents in regard to an open space of land east of ‘Clonard’, Lucan-Newlands Road, Esker North, (next to Brookvale land) (this land is currently open green space, section of the land is fenced off, with a number of trees on the land which have been felled, as a result of examinations carried out) with a view to resolving the issue that has come to light recently and addressing concerns brought to our attention.
"That the Clondalkin Area Committee request Tree Preservation orders for trees in and around Clondalkin Convent. We believe these trees to be around 100 years old and that this is a matter of extreme urgency as there could be major building work at this area and we must protect the trees."
To ask the Chief Executive for an update on any contacts initiated with Fingal and Kildare County Councils to get the Liffey Valley Area Management Committee up and running again
That the Council will promote social distancing in the community and that in response to this motion an outline will be given as to what steps are proposed to ensure social distancing in our county in public spaces including in local parks, villages, community centres, and how the Council will help local businesses in adapting to providing goods and services while ensuring social distancing, and are social media campaigns planned.
Is it expected to have a Community Infrastructure Fund this year? If so when might it be launched?
To ask the Chief Executive to list, in tabular form by area, the number of vacant sites in it's functional area, the number of requests made by the Council for payment of vacant site levies in respect of same, the number of sites in relation to which payment has been received and the total overall amount received for 2017, 2018 and 2019
