QUESTION: Councillor Yvonne Collins

To ask the Chief Executive what measures are in place to catch up with delays in maintenance and repairs to roadways and footpaths throughout the area, as a result of Covid 19 or otherwise, and to identify what criteria shall be used to prioritise same

REPLY:

While there was a delay in the Roadworks and Footpath Programme due to Covid -19, the works have recommenced and the footpath and road works programme as agreed by Council for this year will be complete by end of the year.

In addition SDCC received an additional allocation under the Stimulus Package and tendering for these works has commenced.
