In particular can the Manager outline if work was not done as part of cutbacks which would normally have been carried out on a yearly basis up to this. Will the Manager guarantee this work will now be carried out as a matter of urgency and that flood prevention / drainage works will not be reduced as part of cutbacks in 2010.
