That this Committee supports the residents of Saggart Village in their opposition to the sale of the Village Green to facilitate the development set out in planning application SD06A/0636 which has been refused by SDCC Planning Dept but upheld on appeal to An Bord Pleanala recently.

Questions
To ask the manager to state the possibility of including a left turning bus lane from the Firhouse Road onto the Ballycullen Road.
To ask the Manager to state as to who is responsible for the three openings/cuttings on the Greenhills Road, Tallaght, on the section from Main St., to the traffic lights at the entrance to Bancroft Estate. Will he arrange to have those responsible re-surface the road to its original condition.
To ask the Manager to arrange that re-surfacing work be arranged on the pathway at Old Bawn Road, on the section from the postbox, near the Creche, up towards the two cottages, at the entrance to Maelruans Park.
To ask the Manager, that while welcoming the recent construction and opening of the bridge adjacant to St. Dominic's School, it has come to my attention that there is a need for an additional public light at the ramp area of the bridge. Could an additional public light be placed at this location and can I also receive clarification on when a Charlie O'Toole nameplate will be erected at the bridge?
To ask the Manager, to provide a footpath between *details supplied, which would facilitate pedestrians going to the school and nearby shops?

That this Committee calls for a traffic calming review on Hunter's Road before any further development takes place at this location with a view to providing speed ramps and a pedestrian crossing to facilitate residents crossing Hunter's Road between the two parts of Hunterswood Estate".
That this Committee discuss the recently installed traffic measures on Mayberry Road, Kilnamanagh.
That the Manager immediately removes the traffic islands that are still in place in the vicinity of the previously removed roundabout on Suncroft Drive.
This committee calls for the right of way between Parklands Court and Ballycragh to be extinguished in accordance with the requests of the residents.
That this Committee recommends that all necessary steps be taken to ensure the provision of cycle stands at shopping centres and outside convenience stores.
That this Committee supports immediate action for the provision of Parking for Disabled Drivers in Tallaght Village.
That this Committee calls on the Manager to initiate the process of creating a new public right of way from the Embankment Road in to Kingswood Heights (South of the existing pedestrian access in to Kingswood Heights from the Luas Station).

Questions
To ask the manager to write to Dublin Bus asking that improvement to services in the Old Bawn/Ayelsbury area be strongly considered in further reviews of services.
To ask the Manager to write to Dublin Bus requesting that the bus stop outside CRH on the Belgard be replaced to its original position. The location of the bus stop was valuable for staff in CRH. The bus stop was initially relocated and was then removed altogether?

To ask the Manager when it is anticipated that the first draft of the West Oldcourt Local Area Plan will be ready and will he make a statement on the matter?
To ask the manager to make a statement on the results of a planning inspection at the entrance to *details provided
To ask the Manager to confirm that the Industrial Estate (to the rear of the Fruitfield site on the N81, Tallaght Adventure World) has been taken in charge by this Local Authority and if so, can the Manager confirm what services are this Local Authority providing to the various units within this estate?
“To ask the Manager what is the current status of the lands where the Maxol Garage on the Castletymon Distributor Road in Tallaght recently cased trading, if pre-planning consultation has taken place between his Department and the owners of this site, or indeed other third parties, and given the proximity of the site to what is a major distributor road in the Tallaght area, what would be considered appropriate development for this site, and if he will make a statement on the matter.”
