"To ask the CEO while wholeheartedly welcoming the recent clearing of gardens, painting and other works being carried out on the four Derelict Homes in St Maelruain's Park adjacent to Mountain Park and also the two Bungalows on the Old Bawn Rd - to report on any timelines that can be provided as to when these houses could be ready to be used as Family homes again and what if any firm plans are in place for them in this regard."

"That this Committee calls on the Manager once again to tackle the well-known source of the illegal dumping in Montpelier View that has been a scourge on the small tight knit Community for far too many years now and also given the Codes of Practice relating to using CCTV in relation to illegal Dumping for use by Local Authorities to tackle this scourge that was included in the recently enacted "Circular Economy Act" further calls on the Manager to ensure this location is First on the list in the new year when these measures can be utilised."

"Noting that there appears to have been fewer Bonfires around the Tallaght area this Halloween, this Area Committee acknowledges the efforts of the Public Realm crews from local Depots who removed many tons of Bonfire materials in advance of Halloween and encourages local Community Groups to engage with the Council, Tallaght Garda and Councillors in advance of Halloween next year to discuss local responses."

"That this Committee calls on the CEO to arrange for the inspection of two large Trees at two locations on Bancroft Park to determine if any works are required to be carried out to them on safety grounds. The Trees in question stand between (address withheld) and also between (address withheld) - the item arises as some Residents are very fearful there may be a serious accident due to their height many metres above the ESB Cables and also their close proximity to them. Large branches have fallen off the Trees recently which has led to the fear among some of the Residents. Photograph attached for the Convenience of Staff and Councillors."

"This Area Committee calls on the Manager to provide updated information on any discussions that have taken place between SDCC and the NTA regarding provision of the new Greenhills Road (Mayberry to Tymon Lane) on land to the south of Birchview Ave and Treepark Road, Kilnamanagh, to facilitate Bus Connects, and to indicate if will require a Part Eight proposal and also to advise this Area Committee if any lands need to be acquired to facilitate the new bridge required over the M50 on Greenhills Road and the location of any proposed acquisitions"

"That this Tallaght Area Committee calls for a full review by his Planning Department of the planning permission granted to McHugh Components Ltd Broomhill Road Tallaght, will he appreciate that the community wishes to know if the permission covers all of the activity now taking place on a site on Mayberry Road opposite Kilnamanagh Shopping Centre which has included facilitating heavy truck access across a grass verge through a gate into what has become a "Compound"; will he give assurances that the whole operation is being monitored by his Department and action taken where necessary and will he make a statement for discussion."

"That this Tallaght Area Committee asks the CEO to furnish a detailed report on the recent granting of a S254 Hoarding Licence at Mayberry Road opposite Kilnamanagh Shopping Centre; will he appreciate the concern of the local community who were not consulted and does not understand how the licence has facilitated so much activity on the site including access being created for heavy trucks across the grass verge and through a gate; will he understand the community needs a full explanation and make a statement for discussion."

"To ask the CEO to investigate with a view to correcting the issue that has arisen with the Gaeilge option with the receipts at the Kiosks in Castletymon Library and possibly County Library if the same system is in place whereby Fadas are not being recognised on Library members names when printed which is causing some consternation among some Gaeileoirí in the area. It appears to be a programming error that should be quite easily rectified."
