QUESTION NO. 6

QUESTION: Councillor C. O'Connor

To ask the CEO to report on his latest dealings with the Fettercairn Estate Management group; will he list issues being pursued and make a statement? Charlie O'Connor

REPLY:

The Estate Management Section continue to work with Fettercairn Residents Association on a regular basis.

Remnants of bonfire material have been removed in all three estates of Fettercairn. Bulbs for planting have been supplied to representatives of Kilmartin and Drumcairn. Paint has also been provided to residents to cover over graffiti and paint boundary walls.

Recently the Resident's Association have highlighted the build up of rubbish in front and back gardens in the area. Several calls have been made by the Estate Management team and the Environmental Health Officer regarding these build ups and investigations are ongoing.

ASU attended an on- line meeting with residents from Fettercairn/Kilmartin on the 2nd of November. A number of issues were raised re: anti social behaviour in the area and we will investigate these matters and liaise with Tallaght Gardaí.

A further meeting will be held with the Anti-Social team before year end.
