To ask the CEO to list actions being taken by the Director of Environment, Water & Climate Change, in respect of all projects within her remit agreed as part of the Tallaght Central "Have Your Say" programme and will he make a statement? Charlie O'Connor

REPLY:

The Public Participatory Budgeting Process is a very popular method of delivering projects. The following are the projects assigned to EWCC under the 300K Have your Say Process voted on by the local community in the Tallaght area in 2021; they are at various stages of delivery:

(PPB HYS 2021) Upgrade the playground at Aylesbury Field: Complete

(PPB HYS 2021) Toddler playground Old Bawn: Under construction.

(PPB HYS 2021) Fruit Trees along Bolbrook Stream and Avonmore Road. 15no. fruit trees have been ordered as part of the Tallaght area Tree Planting. This planting is due to take place in Q1 of 2023.

(PPB HYS 2021) Native tree trail in Sean Walsh Park. Options being reviewed.

(PPB HYS 2021) Outdoor event space in Sean Walsh Park. Options and costings being reviewed.

(PPB HYS 2021) Improve the Kingswood playground. Tender completed, at lead in period. Construction to commence when ground conditions improve.

(PPB HYS 2021) Tymon Park Sensory garden/accessible playground Sculpture completed. Installation of sculpture and accessible bench to commence shortly.

(PPB HYS 2021) Upgrade the playground at Sean Walsh Park. Under construction.
