This committee agrees via this motion, that lands along the Liffey Valley which are protected by the SAAO policy in our CDP remains protected in current and future plans. Members of this committee will not support any attempt to develop new towns in this area.
The teen space on Newcastle Road has been very welcomed amenity in the area. Members ask Chief Executive to provide an update on the next phase of the teen space, to confirm when will remedy works re markings on wall be carried out. To include drawings/plans on overall plan with the report.
This committee requests the Chief Executive to examine the boundary between Somerton Walk and adjoining lands. On completion of the development the boundary area has to date been left unfinished, gaps in fencing and its subjected to anti social issues.

To ask the Chief Executive to outline how the voids funding for 2021 was spent, the number of housing units brought back into use, the mix of units, the average cost per unit and average turn-around time per unit
"That this Committee agrees that there is a need for a pedestrian crossing to be established on Fonthill Road at the footpath entrance to the area of Clondalkin Commons. This route is frequently used by residents in St. John's/Sruleen for access to Clondalkin community centre including children. In doing so SDCC should ensure that the lights should be synchronised to operate with existing pedestrian crossing situated between St. John's West and Boot Rd."
