MOTION NO. 15

MOTION: Councillor G. O'Connell

"That this Committee requests that the Economic Development Department consider the disposal of land at Quarryvale to the Quarryvale Family Resource Centre at a location to be agreed between the Council and the Family Resource Centre. (Land nearest the Community Centre).

REPORT:

The Quarryvale Resource Centre could submit an application, along with a map, to the Economic Development Department. The application would include the reasons why they wish to acquire the lands, along with details of the necessary funding in place to assist with any potential acquisition. Economic Development will then review the application, with reports requested from various other Internal Departments within the Council. In addition, input would also be required from the external utilities providers.
