MOTION: Councillor Shane Moynihan

To ask the Chief Executive to explore the use of virtual traffic modelling for traffic movement trials in Lucan village, and to make the raw data from any traffic movement study publicly available.

REPORT:

Potential traffic trials in the Lucan Village area are at the very early concept stages at present.

Members were advised of such potential trails in the context of the proposed schemes in Lucan - notably Lucan Village Green and Lucan Main street.

Any proposals to implement Traffic Trials in Lucan will be presented to the Members. For such proposals to be made, transport assessments will be carried out and the reports made available to the Members and the Public.
