That the Manager outlines what funds the Community Department has received from development levies in the past year in each of the Lucan, Clondalkin, Palmerstown and Newcastle Lyons areas and to outline to what capital uses these funds have been put.

That the Manager reports upon the Housebound Service provided by the library service and provides details as to what plans are being put in place to extend it to the Lucan and Palmerstown areas.

That the Manager reports upon the likelihood that Lucan Village and environs would greatly benefit from the allocation of an additional street cleaning operative and that such an initiative would be funded by the additional rates accruing to the Council due to the many additional business premises that are now established within the village and other commercial centres in Lucan.

That the Manager investigates as a matter of urgency the delays that occurred in rectifying faults in the heating system over the period of November to January in an individual dwelling in Buirg an Rí and to outline what steps will be taken to ensure that a similar situation will not happen again.

That the Manager would agree to install New Litter Bins in Lucan Demesne, including in the Car Park, to help combat the increased litter problems in Lucan Demesne which is of growing concern to Local Residents who want this litter problem brought under control now. In the circumstances where much of the litter is clearly as a result of the McDonalds Fast Food Outlet's wrappings being disgarded in Lucan Demesne, I consider it reasonable to request McDonalds to sponsor the supply and installation of such New Litter Bins in Lucan Demesne.

That this Committee compliments the Manager on the initiative organised with the other Dublin Local Authorities by taking steps to cater for the additional recyclable waste generated around the Christmas period in association with the door to door Green Bin collection.

"To ask the Manager if *(details supplied) had planning permission for a walk way to be provided to the entrance to this front door which involved steps and if this was part of the original planning application for this development, why did South Dublin County Council's Planning Department not demand that ramps be erected at this development, in line with existing Council and Government policy concerning accessibility for wheelchair users, and if he will make a statement on the matter?"

"To ask the Manager if he would consider the establishment of a yellow box at the junction of Ballymount Road & Belgard Road, as a means of assisting residents from Kingswood Heights who find it increasingly difficult, given the traffic light sequence at this, to leave their estate in the mornings via the Belgard Road, if the matter has been discussed at a recent meeting of the Traffic Study Group, and if he will make a statement on the matter?"
