"To ask the Manager that given the high level of littering of broken glass present on footpaths and areas that would not normally be cleaned by a standard road sweep in many of SDCC's own estates, is it possible to review procedures around this to incorporate additional cleaning given the danger that glass can present to residents and in particular children?"

"That this committee calls on Dublin Bus to instantly review its timetable of services to the West Tallaght area with the intention of reinstating services that it has reduced over the past few months, that this should be carried out as a matter of urgency given the fact that Winter is fast approaching and that passengers will now face a much longer wait for a bus in bad weather."

"That this committee asks the Manager to review the sale of valuable land in the Jobstown Park area for private development and requests that he approaches the Department of Justice to consider purchasing the site in question for the provision of a much needed additional Garda Station for Tallaght as clearly identified as a specific and absolute need identified in both the West Tallaght Study (2003) and the RAPID Plan for West Tallaght (2002)."
