That the Manager outlines what funds the Community Department has received from development levies in the past year in each of the Lucan, Clondalkin, Palmerstown and Newcastle Lyons areas and to outline to what capital uses these funds have been put.

That the Lucan/Clondalkin Area Committe proposes that the Community Department, in conjunction with County Dublin VEC Youth and Sports Sub-Committee and CYC, carry out a survey to find out the number of functioning youth organisations in the Lucan and Clondalkin Electoral Areas, and devises a project to promote, amongst parents and young people the setting up of youth organisations, including general Youth Clubs and specialist/single interest groups, such as Twirlirs/Gospel Groups/Adventure Sports Groups, in the context of existibg funding available to the Council and the VEC for youth activities.

That the Manager considers making provision for suitable park benches in all parks in the Lucan, Palmerstown and Clondalkin areas in instances where they are not likely to create a nuisance. It is widely recognised that park users would appreciate the provision of benches.
