That the Council draw up an Area Action Plan for the Palmerstown Village area incorporating the VL Byrne site and also all of the "Old Lucan Road" and the estates off it-both residential, recreational and commercial, and making provision for the up-grading of the Kennelsfort Rd/N4 Intersection, prior to entertaining any planning application for the area.  The availability of such an important site becoming available now for re-development opens up opportunities including the provision of social and affordable housing for the already over-developed community of Palmerstown and in the context that whatever development emerges at the VL Byrne site will define Palmerstown for at least the next fifty years.

That the Manager would report on the possible acquisition by this Council of the house for sale by the Clondalkin Partnership, adjacent to the Round Tower.

That this Committee urges the Manager to take the necessary steps to ensure the implementation of LZO number 10.3.i(2) in the County Development Plan, to facilitate the provision of sheltered housing at Primrose Hill, Lucan during the period of the Plan, and asks the Manager if he will make a statement on the matter, including a report on discussions with the Presbyterian Church authorities in Lucan.

Given the success of North Clondalkin football soccer clubs & the promotion to higher divisional leagues, that this Council supports the provisions to ensure that there are adequate dressing room, shower & toilet facilities, & that the infrastructure criteria are met for the appropriate leagues guidelines. Please note league games take place on Saturdays & Sunday's.

"That the Council begins a process of naming the roundabouts in the Rathfarnham-Terenure area."

That this Council  will be provided with the full facts in relation to the pollution of the Camac river in Clondalkin back in early February & to produce the copy of the Section 12.  in order to make public the order & more importantly an impact report statement on the local environment from the Council & the E.P.A.

That this Committee recommends that South Dublin County Council develops a plan of campaign to deal with Halloween activity in Lucan and Clondalkin and that a report is given to the Committee on proposals in two months time.

That this Committee recommends that Dodsborough Cottages be included in the next round of Junk Collections and requests the Manger to provide a list of estates in the Lucan Electoral Area in which Junk Collections were made in 2005 or will be made in the present round? 

That the Council carry out a survey of the Back Lane network in Palmerstown with a view to securing them in such a manner that they will no longer be available for illegal dumping and/or for unsocial activities as the present situation is a source of ongoing and severe trauma for adjacent residents as well as a drain on scarce Council and Garda resources and frustrating for the whole community.
